3. Discipline and Complaints

Discipline and Complaints:
CoYHC prides itself on ensuring all members are able to enjoy hockey in a safe and supportive environment. To ensure we maintain this standard, our Discipline and Complaints procedure document outlines how you can raise a concern to the club (or England Hockey) and how that is managed and investigated within the club. In addition, this also details our player disciplinary procedure (particularly relating to red cards/frequent yellow cards) where players' behaviour has fallen below expectations. To understand all of the expectations of players, please familiarise yourself with our Code of Conduct for Players.

Raising a Concern
It is all of our responsibility to raise concerns when we see things that are below the expectations we set or do not align with our Code of Conduct. Whether you are a player, volunteer, coach, parent, carer or supporter, you can all help us by sharing your concerns. Once you have completed this form, this will be reviewed by our Club Secretary.

If however your concerns relate to safeguarding of juniors (Under 18s) or vulnerable individuals, please complete our Safeguarding Reporting Form

General ideas or comments
If your comment or enquiry is more of an idea of how to improve our club and not related to one specific incident, we would encourage you to complete our Player’s Representative Feedback Form where all ideas are reviewed and shared with the Executive Committee on a monthly basis.
