Welcome to the City of York Hockey Club Seniors
We are delighted to offer hockey from the age of 13 upwards for players of all abilities. We aim to provide a positive environment to help players to improve, compete and enjoy their passion for hockey.

We run weekly training sessions and regular fixtures at all levels throughout the hockey season. In addition to competing in the Yorkshire and North East Leagues, we run competitive mixed, masters and indoor teams. During the off season, we offer social summer hockey sessions, tours, mixed hockey and indoor hockey (dependent on competition / venue availability).

Weekly training – N.B. Please join the club or contact us prior to attending your first session so we can ensure you are insured, safe, and in the correct group:

Ladies 1s – Tuesdays 8-10pm at University of York Sports Centre
Ladies 2/3s - Tuesdays 7-8.30pm at University of York Sports Centre
Ladies 4, 5s - Wednesdays 7.30-9pm at Huntington School
Ladies 6, 7s (including those new to hockey) - Wednesdays 7-8.30pm at Huntington School
Mens 1s – Thursdays 7-9pm at University of York Sports Centre
Mens 2s - Thursdays 8-9.30pm at University of York Sports Centre
Mens 3,4s – Wednesdays 7-8.30pm at Vale of York Academy
Mens 5, 6, 7s (including new to hockey) - Wednesdays 7.30-9pm at Vale of York Academy

Season Senior Membership prices 2025/26:
Senior membership - £230
Student membership - £90
University student membership - £60
Social Membership (non playing) - £20
£12 match fees for all senior matches
