York dominated the first half with good attacking play keeping the ball in the opposition half for most of the first half. There were a number of well defended Tadcaster counter attacks with a great save by Jess.

There was a Tadcaster short corner followed by a run down the wing by Daisy and a goal by Holly in the last minute of the first half.

The second half saw a goal within 5 minutes. Hit at the top of the D by Sarah then Christine made it 2 :0 with her first York goal!

Tadcaster had three consecutive short corners again well defended with Jess catching it in her pads.

There were two more York opportunities with from a flick by Daisy and wide by Lucy J and finally a great save by Tadcaster in the last minutes of the game.
