?‍♀️ York City Superheroes Unite!

Today York City Ladies 4s got the call to pack their capes and headed out on an away mission to face Otliensians 1s for the second time this season. The setting may have been enemy territory, but our superheroes were ready to level up from the last encounter and slam dunk a win.

The first half saw plenty of York possession, shots on goal and committed defending, but nothing quite crossed the line, 0–0 at the break. York deflected any chaos with their shields, staying patient and trusting their superpowers.

With the sun on our capes in the second half, confidence soared. Using the width brilliantly, York stretched the game like Elastigirl and found another gear. The breakthrough came from an excellent link-up between Fern and Helen to open the scoring. From there, York’s powers were fully supercharged ?⚡

Two clinical short-corner goals followed, a fierce straight strike from Helen and another finished at the left post by Lucy F after a slick delivery. The midfield played with the calm of Doctor Strange, while the forwards attacked with the speed of The Flash. By full time, the Otliensians could only look on in envy, 3-0 victory to York.

Another mission complete. The city is safe once again. ?‍♀️
