On the last game of 2025, as we approach the most wonderful time of the year, ladies 4s were met with a home game against Batley

With more players than santa has reindeers, the ladies were fired up to continue a winning streak and aim to get close to the top of the table.

The start of the game showed dominance and talent from York with majority of the play being 'Rocking around the attacking D' . (With a shout out to the Batley keeper who pulled off some brilliant saves.)

York ladies kept working hard, like santas elves and finally Tatey got one passed the keeper following a brilliant assist from Helen.

York went into the second half in the lead but didnt become complacent with the mids putting in a nutcracker of a performance to continue dominating.

Before long Will added to the score sheet, spreading the joy of the game.

The good timings took a slight pause as Tatey failed to convert a penalty flick but this was soon forgotten about as Helen brought christmas joy to the game as she scored the 3rd goal for york.

Ladies 4s remained merry and bright till the final whistle, bringing peace to the earth. With a solid performance by all and some incredible team work, similar to being replicated in the upcoming week by santas elves!

Ladies 4s end 2025 in a comfortable 2nd place in the table and ready to bring good tidings to 2026.
