It was a typical wet Yorkshire morning at the JLD and the Ladies 1s were looking for 3.

The game started off at quite a pace, and Leeds were right up in York’s face. Even though the game looked even, Leeds went 2-0 up but York Ladies 1’s did not look beaten. Great play from the midfield and forwards ensured the ball was put on the oppositions shoe, creating the chance for Lou. At half time, 2-1 then was the score, York were looking for more.

The second half started, and both teams were not halfhearted. Unfortunately, Leeds scored again, making the score 3-1, but York were not done. With a fantastic team effort from all, saw Heather get the ball. At the top of the circle was she, two incredible drag flicks brought York much glee. The game finished 3-3.
