An omnishambles of a liftshare arrangement but we all made it. 1-0 to York with Paul slotting home from a short unusually awarded in our favour. Then 10 minutes of to and fro before they equalised. 1-1 at half time but the game had turned a bit scrappy which suited Slaz. Then second half they started better and ran to a 3-1 lead. Then, leaving it late for the season I slotted home for 3-2. At that point it felt like we could go on to get something but they were wiley in front of goal and we gifted them a couple of goals. 6-2 felt harsh. Relegation - but we tried to play a system and had extended periods where we made a lot of 1st and 2nd teams struggle. Players Player of the Season to Dunc. That's my season as mens 5s captain over. Disappointed to get relegated but we shouldn't have been reorganised into that league!!! Some of the team seemed genuinely relieved...
