Sun 12/10/2008 York Under 12s Boys at Halifax.
York U 12s I without a regular goalkeeper performed well under pressure conceding a goal against Driffield U12 I. Despite playing well under pressure conceded a goal in the dying minutes (result lost 0 - 1).
York U 12 I V Bradford U 12 I drew 0 -0 in a scrappy game with lots of missed opportunities to capitalise by York.
York U 12 I V Harrogate U 12 I (Result D 0-0) was another poorly contested game where York failed to capitalise despite numerous opportunities. Some good individual play but lacked gelling as a team.
York U 12 I V Ben Rhydding U 12 I was a very well contested game with York having an upperhand through a very well rehearsed corner opportunity fed out by Andrew Abell and firmly delivered in goal by Arran Limbert (result D 1-1).
York U 12 I V Ben Rhydding U 12 B only lost by a goal despite good defending
and persistently under pressure by the opposition. The team played very
well but just failed to convert the pressure into opportunities. (result
L 0-1)
