In chilly conditions the Badgers ran out eventual 4-2 winners against a determined and good quality Thirsk side. Strong performances were on show in defence from Flynn Monk, ably supported by Tom Sermon, Thor and Alex List and the steadfast pairing of Jess Wittwer and Andy Foreman. The midfield showed great creativity, movement and drive, spearheaded by Arthur Seth and Ethan Sermon. Henry Williams, Cate Stewart, Georgina Jordan and Ben Buzasi also put in sterling shifts as they worked hard to keep Thirsk at bay. Up front, Freddie Foreman, Oliver Wittwer and Belle Steele finished with power and precision and Sophia Briscoe made a number of match saving saves in goal. A great team performance from all kept the crowd warm!
