Our teams play every Saturday throughout the season and some Sundays. We play at several locations throughout York. Click on the links below for more details about our venues. From these pages, you will be able to view the venues and print out directions.

Directions to City of York HC From Huntington School

  • To reach the Hockey Club after the game, turn left out of the car park by the astro and travel for about ½ mile.
  • Turn right into New Lane (Social Club opposite the junction).
  • Travel the full length of New Lane (about1½ miles) to some Traffic Lights at a "T" junction, turn right.
  • Turn left just after a Motosave Service Centre which is on your right.
  • Follow this road, which bends first left then right. Turn first left after this.
  • This is Elmpark Way and the Hockey Club is at the end on the left.

Directions to City of York HC from York University

  • To reach the Hockey Club after the game, turn left out of the University and left again at the roundabout.
  • Follow the road through and out of the University grounds and down a hill to a set of Traffic Lights.
  • Go straight over these lights and keep on this road for about a mile until you reach another set of lights by Heworth Church, which is on your left.
  • Here you need to turn right then immediately left into Dales Lane (between a newsagent and a Spar shop).
  • Follow road until a "T" junction, go left here where you will come to a crossroad junction.
  • Go straight across and take first right.
  • This is Elmpark Way and the Hockey Club is at the end on the left.

  • To reach the Hockey Club after the game, turn left out of St John's College and go back the way you came
  • Opposite Heworth Golf Club, just before a Motosave Service Centre which is on your left, is a turning right in to Straylands Grove.
  • Follow this road, which bends first left then right. Turn first left after these bends.
  • This is Elmpark Way and the Hockey Club is at the end on the left.
